Speaker and subwoofer development requires a diligent testing process including an anechoic chamber, power testing facility and the most advanced desktop applications for design and simulation. These high standards allow KENWOOD eXcelon speakers to deliver their expected performance and have long term reliability so your music can be enjoyed for many years.

Low frequency output is increased because of a larger cone size. The cutout diameter has remained the same making this feature of the new XR woofers ideal for most vehicles where space is a premium. The XR woofers are ideal for a small sealed box.

The newly designed cone features ribbing that adds strength to the cone and minimizes distortion.

Our engineers designed a strong magnetic circuit with the purpose of reproducing deep low frequencies. Their efforts employed a large magnet and optimized yoke.

By adopting a "Stress-free Spider" and a "Thermal Efficient System" the mechanical and thermal durability has been improved dramatically delivering smooth and strong bass sound with long lasting reliability.

The Energy ES F30.5 car audio subwoofers is the ideal solution for those who look for a subwoofer of compact size, yet providing powerful and engaging sound. At its highest excursion point, the Ultra Flat profile reaches 85 mm (3.34 in.) height for the ES F20.5 subwoofer, 94 mm (3.7 in.) height for the ES F25.5 subwoofer and  106 mm (4.17 in.) for the ES F25.5 subwoofer. Care has been put into every detail of the design and building of these subwoofers, to ensure high mechanical quality as well as efficient thermal capability, to the benefit of bursting dynamics and startling power handling. Robust ferrite magnet motor assembly, pressed-paper cone, Back Vented Spider Support and copper voice coil, wound on aluminium former, are only some of the unique features of the Energy Flat subwoofers. The linear and solid design of the Energy, ES F20.5, ES F25.5 and ES F30.5, is enhanced by the ultra flat profile as well as by the Hertz logo on the dust-cap, making their cosmetics suitable to any installation.

The Hertz SPL Show car audio subwoofers are the ideal solution for building mobile audio systems with emphasis placed on low frequency power and impact. Featuring a stacked double magnet motor assembly and 2 + 2 Ohm dual voice coil, the three models, SX 250D, SX 300D, SX 380D differ only in their cone diameter: 250 mm, 300 mm, 380 mm respectively. The SPL Show moving assembly is designed to ensure long and linear excursion. They feature a dual spider design and an aluminium voice coil wound on a four-layer former. The back vented spider support decreases the voice coil operating temperature, even during enhanced SPL usage.
