Data Retention & Security

| Purchase/billing records | 7 years (CDTFA 4-year sales/use tax minimum plus buffer for CA’s 4-year written-contract statute, CCP §337) for most equipment, which remains removable personal property. For in-wall or ceiling speaker installations — physically integrated into the structure and more likely treated as an “improvement to real property” — retain job records 10 years, aligned with California’s construction-defect statute of repose (CCP §337.15) |
| Site usage/analytics data | Per Google Analytics’ default retention settings |
